Bushcraft, new music video, new photos, more gigs...

I hope you had a wonderful long weekend and relaxed to the max. Perhaps you did some hula dancing and then made a statue of the Eiffel Tower out of chocolate fingers.  That's what I would have done had I not had two gigs to play.

I'm very pleased to tell you that my new music video for "Share Your Heart", which features contemporary dancer Callum Osbourne, is now out!  See below.  It was filmed at Nailsworth Sub Rooms, which is a new favourite place of mine after the fantastic sell out gig we did there last weekend!
This weekend's gigs were pretty full-on.  I headed up to London on Friday to rehearse with a very jet-lagged Henry before our gig that evening in Soho.  It was great to see some old school friends in the audience amid the new faces.  Then it was back to my place on Saturday for more rehearsing with Hen and Asha for our performance at Bushcraft Festival on Sunday.  I have certainly never played a gig like it!  Everybody was wandering around in camo gear with knives at the hips for activities like learning how to skin rabbits.  And during the gig there were people in the audience who were whittling wooden spoons while they listened!  We were in a threepee (three teepees joined together) with one side open to the outside.  It was a little chilly I have to say, but one nice lady who had a stall selling outdoor gear swapped a signed CD for a new fleece so I was quite cosy after that.  Who knew that CDs could be such useful bargaining tools?!

So unfortunately there was no time for the chocolate finger Eiffel Tower, but now I have some time off so maybe I'll get round to it in the next few days.  I'm going to Italy for two weeks on Saturday so you may not hear from me for a bit, but I'll be straight back into gigging when I get back!  There'll even be some recording going on in June, which I'm super excited about.  More on that later...

My website has been updated in the last few days and you can now listen to the entire album via my tracks page:

The living room/small venues tour that I'm organising for the Autumn is coming along very nicely and there'll be a poster out soon so you'll be able to see if I'm visiting a town near you.  I can still fit one or two more into September if you are interested in a house gig.  Pop me an email if it's something you'd like to discuss.

That's all for now amigos.  Hopefully when I see you again I'll be much more tanned!
